By using TrailBritain, you agree to these terms. The service is operated by Codemesh OÜ (registry code 16540767).

The service

We provide guides and planning tools for Britain's long-distance walks. Distances, times, elevation, and accommodation suggestions are estimates. Verify conditions, availability, and bookings independently before you walk.

We are not the official authority for any trail on TrailBritain. For closures and waymarking, use the official site linked from that trail's guide. We are an independent planning resource operated by Codemesh OÜ.

Your plan and email links

If you save or email a plan, we store your itinerary and may send a transactional edit link. Keep that link private. Anyone with it may view or edit your plan depending on the link type. Questions: info@trailbritain.com.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site (attempt to break security, scrape at scale, or use the service for unlawful purposes). We may suspend access if needed to protect the service or others.

Liability

Outdoor activities involve risk. See our disclaimer for important limitations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codemesh OÜ is not liable for indirect loss or for decisions you make based on planner output.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, where Codemesh OÜ is registered. If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence may also apply and nothing here limits those rights.

Disputes should first be raised with us at info@trailbritain.com. Courts with jurisdiction will be determined by applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date on our legal pages.
